House of Layers is an interior decoration and home styling creating homes that feel thoughtful, welcoming and deeply personal.
Every home tells a different story. Through colour, furniture, lighting, textiles, artwork and carefully chosen objects, I create interiors that feel layered, timeless and lived in.
About me.
I think my love of interiors started with my Barbie dollhouse. I could spend hours rearranging the tiny furniture, only to change my mind and start all over again.
Then came my parents' living room. I was forever moving furniture around, convinced I'd found a better place for the sofa. Whether my parents agreed is another story!
By the time MTV Cribs came along, I was hooked. Forget the celebrities, I wanted to see their homes! And who could forget Mariah Carey's enormous walk-in wardrobe?
Growing up between Morocco and Europe, I was surrounded by different colours, styles and traditions. I loved seeing how people decorated their homes and made them their own.
Years later, I studied interior design and House of Layers came to life. I'm still just as curious about people's homes, and still convinced that sometimes all a room needs is a little rearranging.
